Brigitte Bardot and Summer

Brigitte Bardot, a french actress and model, has served as inspiration to many designers such as Karl Lagerfeld and Marc Jacobs.

This season I have been totally inspired by her.  She has just the right balance between a bombshell and a lady.  So many photo shoots have a very "Bardot" feel, and I can't help but love them. 

This editorial in Marie Claire is my absolute inspiration for summer style. 

 

 

 

 

 I loved this picture so much that I went out and bought a hat just like it.  It's a little extravagant, but it looks quite elegant while sunbathing pool side.
